What an exciting time it has been at Disney Institute! Recently, I shared an update from the inaugural 2016 Disney Institute Customer Experience Summit, where nearly 250 business professionals from 12 different countries around the world joined us, Aug. 22-25, 2016, at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to gain insight on best practices in customer experience (CX).
For three days, our Summit participants enjoyed a high-energy program packed with keynote presentations by top Disney leaders, as well as breakout sessions, group activities, field experiences into exclusive behind-the-scenes locations of the Disney Parks, amazing evening networking events, and a few surprises filled with Disney magic.
Not only did the Summit create a unique opportunity for participants to learn how Disney approaches CX—through the lens of leadership, service and employee engagement—it also presented an invaluable forum for networking, collaboration and idea-sharing among the participants themselves. Based on my conversations with participants and from what I observed, I’m certain many of the new friendships and business contacts made last week will continue to flourish for many years to come.
When all was said and done, the Disney Institute Customer Experience Summit added up to one amazing experience with many unforgettable moments that words simply cannot describe!
