In Disney’s Approach to Leadership Excellence, we teach participants that when it comes to great leadership, behaviors matter. Why? Because employees are not just listening to what their leaders say; they are also watching what they do. It’s true: actions really do speak louder than words.

This is an essential lesson to understand and put into practice every single day. Leaders simply cannot afford to underestimate how their behaviors will have a direct and lasting impact on employee engagement, and ultimately on business results.
