Successful Failures

February 23, 2012 by Stacey DiNuzzo, Public Relations Manager, Disney Institute

Sometimes, great ideas just don’t work. At Disney, we consider these “successful failures.” In other words, we use every opportunity as a learning opportunity.

Consider these pointers when faced with difficult situations in your workplace:

•Every person is creative in his or her own way, and ever person has ideas.  Leverage those innovative abilities to create solutions to problems.
•Without risk, organizations fail. Take a chance on something new. If it does not work, learn from it and do better next time.
