#DThink Chat Recap: Leadership Role and Responsibility

At Disney, the long-term success of our company has been cultivated by the actions of exceptional leaders who have exemplified the values first shown by Walt and Roy Disney. It’s why we believe leaders must establish, operationalize and sustain the values and vision by which their organizations thrive.

During our most recent D’Think Twitter Chat (held the first Wednesday of each month), we had excellent dialogue with our Twitter community about the topic of leadership development. The chat featured questions and answers based on “Disney’s Approach to Leadership Excellence,” our professional development course that explores Disney’s best practices for cultivating leadership skills.

The Chat provided our followers the opportunity to engage directly with one of our Disney Institute facilitators. Followers also shared with each other their ideas and approaches on developing personal and organizational leadership skills.
