Last week we hosted our monthly D’Think Twitter Chat, where we discussed the topic of culture with Disney Institute facilitator, Jack Santiago. We had an excellent dialogue with our Twitter community who shared insights based on their own experiences of creating and fostering culture.
We opened our discussion with the question of what role a leader plays in creating and sustaining an organization’s culture. Our community provided interesting and compelling thoughts to support the idea that every leader, through their actions, is telling a story about how s/he values the organization’s culture.
