At Disney Institute, roles generally fall into four main categories including engagement managers, facilitators, account managers, and content development specialists. Engagement Manager

The primary focus of this role is to perform discovery, organizational development (OD), and needs assessment services for clients to determine what leadership, service, and cultural gaps they have within the organization, proposing long-term training and consulting solutions to move them from current state to desired state. This role is the primary end-to-end contact and project manager for long-term client engagements in support of business development efforts.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum five years Disney leadership experience
  • Minimum five years experience in training and development or consulting field
  • Prior external (non-Disney) business experience, preferably at an executive level
  • Proven ability to design customized learning solutions to support client goals, including the engagement of third party solutions when appropriate through a content development team
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; master's degree in business, education or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated bi-lingual language skills (English/Spanish preferred)
  • Extensive travel required

Facilitator

Facilitators deliver the complete portfolio of Disney Institute business programs to external business leaders. They personalize the programs in order to meet the needs of sophisticated business clients by relying on their own experience and business acumen to enhance core content. In addition, they blend Disney Institute content in order to provide tailored programming for clients with more complex needs. This is an onstage role requiring outstanding presentation/facilitation skills.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum five years Disney leadership experience
  • Minimum three years experience teaching, training and development, or business program facilitation for adult learners
  • Successful audition required
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate business principles to external business leaders at all levels
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance through ASTD
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; prefer a master's degree in business, education, or related field
  • Demonstrated bi-lingual language skills (English/Spanish preferred)
  • Extensive travel required

Account Manager

Develop long-term B2B relationships that result in conversion of sales for Disney Institute services within a specified region to support strong revenue growth. Responsible for all aspects of new business development, including account management, account acquisition, executive overviews, needs assessments, proposal generation, and contract negotiations. Develop and manage individual account plans, territorial development, and individual sales budget to meet or exceed revenue targets for identified territory in support of overall long-term revenue growth. This position is responsible for specific regions and or vertical markets.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum five years experience in B2B Sales and Account Management with consistent demonstrated success in meeting performance targets
  • Ability to assess organizational, leadership, and training needs and develop solutions/programs to address needs
  • Aggressive selling style, while maintaining consistency with Counsellor Sales approach
  • Ability to articulate ROI on a service-based product sale to demonstrate value
  • Proven knowledge of Training and Development/Consulting Industry
  • Organization Development and Industrial Engineering knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; prefer a master's degree in business, education, or related field

Content Development Specialist

The primary focus of this role is to develop tailored content in order to meet the needs of sophisticated business clients.  Responsibilities include project managing the research, analysis, design, development, implementation, training, and evaluation of professional development products. The individual will provide expertise in researching, documenting, and developing appropriate tools, materials and teaching methodologies for delivery across multiple platforms as well as collaborating and consulting both internally and externally with instructional designers, writers, and multimedia partners to create global performance improvement solutions.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum four years Disney leadership experience, or significant related professional experience
  • Minimum one year experience as a Disney Institute Facilitator, or related professional experience
  • Deep understanding of adult learning and organization improvement principles
  • Ability to understand business strategy and translate it into learning solutions
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and fast-paced change driven by growth and client expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to localize content to multiple cultures and languages around the globe
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Bachelors Degree in instructional design (ISD), business, education, or related field
  • Moderate travel required
