Awarded: March 2009 (#29)

Recipient: The Walt Disney Company

Criteria: Awarded based on survey carried out by Diversity Inc. The survey measures corporate strength in four areas related to diversity; CEO commitment, Human Capital, Corporate and Organization Communications, and Supplier Diversity. In 2008, 352 companies participated. Other companies recognized include, Verizon, Coca-Cola, Bank of America, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Procter & Gamble.

Fortune has revamped the Most Admired Survey by combining the former Americas Most Admired Company (AMAC) survey and the former Worlds Most Admired Company (WMAC) survey into one.

Global Pulse U.S.: "Most Respected Companies in the United States"

Awarded: June 2008

Criteria: The Global Pulse 2008 study measures the overall respect, trust, esteem, admiration and good feelings consumers hold towards the largest 600 companies in the world, including the largest 150 U.S. companies.

Criteria: Business Week’s 2009 Most Innovative Companies is based on a 20-question poll to senior executives internationally. The survey questions were based on corporations that offer innovative products, customer experiences, business models or processes.
